I loved "Man's Search for Meaning". I read it three times. Truly a classic.
I love Man's Search for Meaning as well! The Midwife's Apprentice was a pretty good one, although my oldest (10yo) still shouldn't read it yet. :)
I'm currently reading:
"Portal to Genius" by Leslie Householder and Garrett Gunderson
"Bonds That Make Us Free" by C. Terry Warner
"A House United..." by Nicholeen Peck
My 10-yo LOL dd is reading:
"Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio" by Peg Kehret
"Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll
My 8yo dd is still working on her reading, so her reading consists of 1st grade Hooked on Phonics Readers and the first McGuffy reader.
My 6-yo LOL ds is reading:
"Sunset of the Sabertooth" by Mary Pope Osborne
Celeste, that is wonderful! I'm enjoying thus far.
Brandi, yes, the Midwife's Apprentice is for an older child, I agree. My Scholar phaser is 12 and she talked with me about the parts of the book that could be disturbing. She did enjoy it, though. :)
I love the Bonds that Make us Free! Thanks for sharing your book list!
You're welcome. Thanks for sharing that about your 12yo. I was thinking that 12 was probably a good age for that book. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. :)
